Famous Clown To Raise Big Money At Cirque du Freak GALA

At every single event I have been to over these countless years, you will always see amazing art, and part of me always feels bad for the artist because they’re the first people who are hit up by every auction committee for every gala, ball, charity, or opening of a Piggly Wiggly. This is not a community replete with cash, and yet they are asked to donate. For artists, these donations are sizable. They aren’t just donations of their talent and skill; they’re donations of their paychecks. So while buying art at a fundraiser is an amazing way to collect great art from local artists at a great price, it also comes at a great price to the artists.

Cirque du Freak is an event benefiting Artists for Artists, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides Emergency Recovery Grants designed to assist artists experiencing career-threatening emergencies. Cirque du Freak will be a night of immersive vaudeville entertainment featuring a silent and live art auction, live music, sideshow performances, costumes, avant-garde food, an open bar, and more.
